As wacky and meme-heavy as this series has become, we could use more serious moments too. I'm fine with that because Ichiran the soapland man will provide enough in the main series. The trailer has me thinking that this game is going to have a much more serious tone (THAT MUSIC) so I don't expect too many wacky sub stories and mini-games. I don't mind playing Kiryu-or Joryu-in whatever town this temple is located, but I hope we go back to Onomichi too. It just made the place seem peaceful, even more than Ryukyu in Yakuza 3. Kiryu taking his jacket off for once was a bonus. Viewing that beautiful sea at the edge, fewer people walking by, tons of alleys, some uphill paths instead of just flat terrain, it was all great. I loved the change of scenery in 6 with Onomichi. I had to Google the faction Kiryu mentioned in the trailer because I forget names, but the guy who gave Kiryu a job in the temple is tied to the clan that was in Hiroshima in Yakuza 6.
